Description
UMT machines are designed for packing, bundling, and wrapping products together. They can handle a variety of products, including food, empty jars, bottles, boxes, and other items that do not require preliminary packaging, such as wood, tiles, and metal parts.
Products are packed in thermal shrinking polyethylene to prevent pollution, damage, moisture, and the need for wooden or cardboard packaging. UMT machines can be used in the food, consumer goods, and chemical industries, and can be customized for other industries upon request.
The UMT-600A-06KHP machine is designed to create square, stable paper packets in block sizes of 2×2 or 2×3 pieces.
The machine components include a former that shapes and regulates the bundle size, wraps the bundle, and moves it into the thermal chamber. Film cutting, welding, and portioning are also performed in this section. The thermal shrinking of the film takes place in the chamber, and the bundle is cooled and stabilized upon exiting.
The board of controls manages and controls the machine’s technological parameters.
The UMT-600A-06KHP machine operates by using temperature to shrink the film. All forming and packing devices are controlled by a program in the machine’s controller. The product is carried on the input transporter and automatically formed into a bundle.
The pusher divides the bundle into two rows and the counter counts the appropriate amount of product in each row. Once the bundle is ready, the stopper is released and the block is pushed forward. As soon as the block reaches the pusher area, the stopper is closed.
The bundle then moves to the electric knife in the accumulating area where it is wrapped. The electric knife automatically cuts and welds the film. Once the bundle has been wrapped, it moves onto the transporter and the next part of the film is ready.
The off-taking net transporter then moves the block to the thermo-tunnel. In the thermo chamber, the film shrinks around the bundle. At the exit of the thermo chamber, the bundle is cooled and stabilized. The ready bundle is then transported to the roll table or the off-taking transporter.
The UMT-600A-06KHP machine loading transporter can work in two modes: stop mode or delay mode. In stop mode, the loading transporter stops when the pusher works. In delay mode, the loading transporter slows down when the pusher works, which increases the machine’s productivity.
