Description
MPPE-12000A is a machine designed for applying (gluing) a circular polypropylene (“flex”) label from a roll to a cylindrical container (PET or glass containers with a capacity of 0.5 to 2 liters) and differs increased to 12,000 bottles per hour productivity. This is achieved through the use of electronic components and blocks with higher speed compared to other machines of this series.
The machine is equipped with a mechanism for stabilizing the position of the label.
The mechanism stabilizes the position of the label relative to the vacuum drum, excluding the influence of the quality of the winding of the label roll on the process of wrapping the container. In addition, this mechanism provides a constant tension force of the label web during operation, regardless of the current productivity of the labeling machine and the number of labels per roll.

The label from the roll to the cutter is fed by the feed mechanism, which includes the feed and pinch rollers.
Between the label feed mechanism and the roll there are guide rollers and an adjustment block, one of the rollers of which has a label sensor.
The label feed length is controlled by the machine’s tracking system.
From the feed mechanism, the label web enters the cutting mechanism, where it is separated into individual labels. The label is held on the cutting drum by vacuum, and the transfer of the label from the cutting drum to the transfer drum is carried out by compressed air.
The transfer drum guides each label through the glue roller of the glue applicator. Here hot glue is applied to the flex label. The adhesive label on the vacuum drum moves towards the bottle, which is fed by a turnstile star. In the initial position, the flow cutter is closed.
After the flow cutter opens, the bottle is picked up by the turnstile star and fed into the wrapping area. The bottle meets the label which is on the vacuum drum.
The vacuum drum presses the bottle against the running ski and rolls it, applying the label. The labeled bottle is conveyed to the exit of the machine.
Glue application mechanism:
The glue application mechanism is designed to heat up the glue to a working temperature of 130-160°C and apply it to the label.
Description of the glue application mechanism:
The heated glue is fed to the scraper. The purpose of the scraper is to form an optimal layer of glue on the glue roller. In the process of applying glue to the label, the fender strings prevent the label from wrapping around the glue roller. Excess glue flows into the glue collector, and from there, through the hose, back to the glue preparation unit.
If there is no label on the vacuum drum during operation, the air cylinder will retract the glue roller so that no glue is applied to the inserts.
