Description
UMT machines are used for packing products such as food, jars, bottles, boxes, and other items that don’t require extra packaging. The products are packed in thermal shrinking polyethylene to protect them from pollution, damage, and moisture.
UMT machines consist of three main components: a bundle forming device, a packing device, and a control board. The former forms the bundle and regulates its dimensions, while the packer cuts and welds the film, shrinks it, and cools the bundle at the exit. The control board manages and regulates technological parameters.
There are five different UMT machine modifications:
- UMT-600P is a hand-operated machine that requires manual bundle packing, wrapping, cutting, and delivery into the thermo chamber.
- UMT-600M is a mechanical machine where bundle collection is manual, but the wrapping and film unwinding are done mechanically. The bundle pusher and electric knife are operated manually.
- UMT-600PO2 is a high productivity semi-automatic machine with an electrically-driven film unwinding device, pneumatic bundle pusher, and electric knife.
- UMT-600PT and UMT-1500PT are semi-automatic machines with transporters where ready bundles go to. Film unwinding and bundle wrapping are automatic, and the bundle pusher and electric knife work from a pneumatic drive.
- UMT-600A is an automatic machine that doesn’t require an operator. It can be customized according to the customer’s technical specifications.
